1.4410 / Super-Duplex / UNS S32750

The material 1.4410 is a corrosion-resistant austenitic-ferritic Super-Duplex steel. It is particularly suitable for applications that require high resistance and strength – especially when conventional corrosion-resistant Duplex Steels no longer meet the corrosion requirements.

The properties of material 1.4410/Super Duplex steel

1.4410/Super Duplex steel is characterised by excellent crack corrosion and pitting resistance in chloride-containing media and in seawater. The material has a two-phase structure and combines the positive properties of stainless chromium-nickel and chromium steels. Compared to other stainless steels, (Super) Duplex steel generally has a higher strength and erosion resistance. Besides, 1.4410/Super Duplex steel provides excellent thermal conductivity with a low thermal expansion coefficient.
